Football Recap: Mountain Crest Skates Past Uintah with Ease

Mountain Crest won the last time they faced Uintah and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs really took it to the Utes for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-8 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Mustangs had established a 48-point advantage.

Uintah lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Romeo Garcia, who picked up 121 receiving yards and one TD.

Mountain Crest has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 50.0 points this season. As for Uintah, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain Crest will host Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Uintah, they will be playing at home against Stansbury at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
