Soccer Recap: East Valley Gets the Win

East Valley's game on Saturday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Vaughn White Tigers 3-2. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 4-2 victory the White Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

East Valley hit Vaughn with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alejandro Reyes, Manuel Garcia, and Nikhil Altamirano.

East Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season. As for Vaughn, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-10.

East Valley will square off against Sherman Oaks CES at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. East Valley's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Vaughn, they will take on Fulton at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
