Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clear Lake). They put the hurt on the Middletown Mustangs with a sharp 20-5 win on Friday. With that victory, the Cardinals brought their scoring average up to 7 runs per game.

Atiana Patino was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Patino was even better at the plate, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024.
