Baseball Recap: Roscommon Comes Up Short

Roscommon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Houghton Lake Bobcats. The Bucks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Roscommon's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Houghton Lake, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-6.

Coming up, Houghton Lake will square off against McBain at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Roscommon will be paying especially close attention to the Bobcats' game: after the Bobcats face off against the Ramblers, they'll take on Roscommon again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
