Concord's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Newark Yellowjackets as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won six in a row.
The win got Concord back to even at 1-1. As for Newark, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
Concord wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Newark Charter School on the 11th. As for Newark, they will head out on the road to square off against Hodgson Vo-Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
