Basketball Recap: Halstead Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

After losing to Hillsboro the last time they met, Halstead decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Halstead Dragons walked away with a 37-28 victory over the Hillsboro Trojans on Tuesday. The win was just business as usual for the Dragons, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

Halstead's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Hillsboro, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Halstead will be home for the holidays to greet Smoky Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Halstead's defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so Smoky Valley's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Hillsboro, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeast of Saline on Thursday.
