Baseball Game Preview: Asheville T Trailblazers vs. Anderson C Cavaliers

The Asheville T Trailblazers will venture away from home to take on the Anderson C Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Asheville T has given up an average of 9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Asheville T came up short against Greenville H on Saturday, falling 16-10. The Trailblazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Corin Davis and Dalton Galloway did some serious damage despite the final result: Davis scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Galloway scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Asheville T is 5-2 when Galloway posts two or more runs, but 2-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Joel Kissinger, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Anderson C lost 13-7 to Liberty last Wednesday.

Asheville T's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Anderson C, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Asheville T couldn't quite get it done against Anderson C when the teams last played back in May of 2019 as they fell 7-3. Can the Trailblazers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
