Meanwhile, Garden City was able to grind out a solid win over Phillipsburg on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0.

Garden City easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13.

Cheney has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7-1 record this season. As for Garden City, their victory bumped their record up to 18-4.
