Johnson-Brock had won 23 straight games and Taryn Ottemann did her part to make it 24 on Thursday. The Johnson-Brock Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Elmwood-Murdock Knights, sneaking past 45-42 thanks in part to Ottemann, who almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine rebounds. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

When it comes to explaining why Elmwood-Murdock lost, don't look at Brooke Goudie. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance gave Goudie a new career-high in rebounds. Brooklyn Mans was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.
