Football Game Preview: Cypress Ranch Mustangs vs. Waxahachie Indians + How To Watch

The Cypress Ranch Mustangs will challenge the Waxahachie Indians at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Cypress Ranch comes in on nine and Waxahachie on seven.

Cypress Ranch is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took down Grand Oaks 27-13.

Cypress Ranch's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Peyton Thomas led the charge by rushing for 92 yards and one touchdown, while also catching one TD. Another passer making a difference was Braden Baker, who threw for 274 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 13.0 yards per attempt.

Cypress Ranch didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of David Crosby and Caleb Clack. Meanwhile, Waxahachie faced North Forney in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Indians enjoyed a cozy 37-20 victory over the Falcons.

Waxahachie's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Cypress Ranch, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
