La Puente and Bassett are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Warriors will welcome the Olympians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. La Puente has given up an average of 28.3 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, La Puente took a blow against Ganesha, falling 47-20. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered against the Giants since November 1, 2019.

The losing side was boosted by Aaron Silva, who rushed for 84 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Bassett had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 37-14 margin over the Lobos. Considering the Olympians have won four games by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

This is the second loss in a row for La Puente and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Bassett, their win bumped their record up to 4-1-1.
