Softball Recap: Delta Rabbits vs. North Sevier Wolves
Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-6 to the North Sevier Wolves. The Rabbits were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
Elee Anderson was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Fallon Johnson, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
Delta's record now sits at 0-9. As for North Sevier, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1.
Coming up, Delta will venture away from home to challenge Emery at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Delta has given up an average of 14.9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for North Sevier, they will welcome Millard at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
