Basketball Game Preview: Logan Grizzlies vs. San Juan Broncos

The Logan Grizzlies are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against the San Juan Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. San Juan took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Logan, who comes in off a win.

Logan barely beat Rowland Hall the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Grizzlies simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Winged Lions 58-20. With the Grizzlies ahead 30-9 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, San Juan was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Friday as they fell 51-47 to Wayne.

Logan will have to contain Khimya Fullwood as she made an impact in San Juan's last game. She dropped a double-double with 29 points and 14 rebounds. Jordan Jones was another key player, putting up five points and 11 boards.

Logan has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 55.0 points this season. As for San Juan, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.
