Softball Recap: Chaminade Eagles vs. Paraclete Spirits
On Tuesday, the Chaminade Eagles came up short against the Paraclete Spirits and fell 10-6.
Finley Suppan put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those RBI were her first of the season.
In other batting news, Norah Pettersen made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Kathleen Katz, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Chaminade's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.
