Warwick has gone 9-1 against Heritage recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Raiders are taking a road trip to challenge the Hurricanes at 4:30 p.m. Warwick will be strutting in after a victory while Heritage will be coming in after a loss.

Warwick will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Gloucester, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Raiders blew past the Dukes 9-1 on Thursday. The Raiders not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 8, 2024 (when they won 13-0).

Meanwhile, Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of King's Fork.

Ja'Son Smith put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off only one hit. Smith was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played.

In other batting news, Nathaniel Watkins made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two RBI. Robert Drumgoole was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Warwick's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Warwick took their win against Heritage in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 33-4 score. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hurricanes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
