Softball Recap: Zephyrhills Bulldogs vs. Weeki Wachee Hornets
Zephyrhills had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Weeki Wachee Hornets 8-1 on Friday. The Bulldogs not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since February 21st.
Hannah Wadyka spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Laila Woolfolk and Melanie Moreno did most of the damage at the plate: Woolfolk scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Moreno scored a run and stole a base while going 4-for-4.
