Volleyball Recap: All Saints' Academy Comes Up Short

All Saints' Academy lost against St. Edward back in October of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Saints took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alena Varela paced All Saints' Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Varela got some help from Paige Lenderman and her eight assists. Varela also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Brailey Carson, racking up two apiece.

All Saints' Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for St. Edward's, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

All Saints' Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Out-of-Door Academy on the 23rd. As for St. Edward's, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against International Community on the 23rd.
