Softball Recap: Windsor Takes a Loss

Windsor was the 17-2 winner over Poultney when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Yellowjackets lost 20-13 to the Blue Devils on Tuesday.

Cassie Clark stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Callie Breit, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Windsor is set to take on their familiar foe White River Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Poultney will face off against rival West Rutland at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
