After flying high against Cleveland on Monday, West End came back down to earth. The Patriots fell 2-0 to the Etowah Blue Devils on Monday. The Patriots' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

West End's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Etowah, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West End will venture away from home to challenge St. Clair County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Etowah and Collinsville will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on September 4.
