Cardinal Gibbons had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sanderson Spartans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cardinal Gibbons took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-10, 25-6.

Amelia Bell paced Cardinal Gibbons' offense, picking up eight kills. Bell got some help from Genevieve Harris and her 30 assists. Ava Garofolo controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cardinal Gibbons' victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Sanderson, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Cardinal Gibbons didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Cary on the 24th. As for Sanderson, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Felton Grove on the 25th.
