Volleyball Recap: St. Charles East Gets the Win

St. Charles East won the last time they faced Jacobs and things went their way on Saturday too. The Fighting Saints walked away with a 2-0 win over the Golden Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting Saints.

Kaylee McInnis paced St. Charles East's offense, picking up eight kills. McInnis got some help from Lexi Schrandt and her ten assists. Schrandt also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Francesca Fevold, each putting up two.

St. Charles East's record now sits at 7-10. As for Jacobs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season.

St. Charles East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Belvidere North on the 4th. As for Jacobs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Round Lake on the 4th.
