Basketball Recap: Lewistown Takes a Loss

Lewistown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Farmington Farmers 61-24. The Indians lost against the Farmers in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 55-53 score last time.

Lewistown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Farmington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Lewistown will challenge Cuba/Spoon River Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Farmington, they will venture away from home to face off against Kewanee at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
