ALA - Queen Creek had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt St. Mary on Tuesday. The Patriots blew past the Knights 3-0. The Patriots not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0).

ALA - Queen Creek was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-7, 25-19.

Leading ALA - Queen Creek to victory were Kylie Morris and Brinklee Johnson. Morris had 16 digs and two aces, while Johnson had 15 assists and three aces. Morris is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

They weren't the only good server: ALA - Queen Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matchups.

ALA - Queen Creek has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for St. Mary's, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.
