Volleyball Recap: Marion Takes a Loss

Marion lost against Inman back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors fell just short of the Inman Teutons by a score of 2-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Marion sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 22-25, 25-20.

Kate Wessel paced Marion's offense, picking up five kills. Wessel got some help from Hailey Harshman and her ten assists. Kate Watkins controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Inman, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Marion and Classical will shake off the rust and duke it out on Tuesday. As for Inman, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Berean Academy on the 23rd.
