Avon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-65 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brownsburg Bulldogs. The Orioles lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 74-42 score last time.

Despite the loss, Avon still got an impressive performance from Aniah Smith, who went 14 for 30 on her way to 33 points in addition to seven assists and five boards.
