Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Patriots vs. Rocky Mount Academy Eagles
The Faith Christian Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 64-19 loss at the hands of Rocky Mount Academy. Faith Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-13.
Rocky Mount Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Taylor Carmichael out in front who scored 18 points. Carmichael is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last eight games she's played. Jessica Proctor was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds.
Faith Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Rocky Mount Academy, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 18-2.
Faith Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rocky Mount Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
