Baseball Recap: Milken Has No Trouble Against Buckley

Milken had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Buckley on Monday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Griffins. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Griffins: they've now won four in a row.

Benjamin Bedil looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Elijah Shokrian, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.
