Howard kept up with Aquinas until halftime on Friday, but afterwards: not so much. The Fightin' Irish's defense stepped up to hand the Huskies a 3-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Aquinas also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2025.

The win made it two in a row for Aquinas and bumps their season record up to 2-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two contests. As for Howard, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Aquinas will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Baldwin at 7:30 p.m. on March 3. As for Howard, they will challenge Rutland at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
