Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Mexico Military Institute). They claimed a resounding 75-37 victory over the Socorro Warriors. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Colts with their most commanding win of the season.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ivan Giron-Vega, who posted 15 points. Izaiah Silva was another key player, putting up ten points.

New Mexico Military Institute has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Socorro, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

New Mexico Military Institute will take on Hagerman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Socorro, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-43 defeat against Ruidoso on the 28th.
