After losing to Wilson the last time they met, Darlington decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Darlington Falcons walked away with a 45-32 victory over the Wilson Tigers on Saturday. The Falcons pushed the score to 44-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers cut but never quite recovered from.

When it comes to explaining why Wilson lost, don't look at Leah Spears. Despite the final result, she posted seven points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was LeaNISSA Swinton, who put up six points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Darlington is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points over those games. As for Wilson, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-8.

Looking ahead, Darlington is taking a road trip to face off against Crestwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crestwood has insisted on making their last three contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests. As for Wilson, they will venture away from home to challenge Lakewood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Wilson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.4 points per game this season.
