Recap: St. Raphael Academy Saints vs. Barrington Eagles
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the St. Raphael Academy Saints, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 29-8 walloping at the hands of Barrington on Friday. St. Raphael Academy's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Daniel Wulf threw for 129 yards and a touchdown while completing 72.7% of his passes. Jalen Antoine was his top target, picking up 88 receiving yards.
St. Raphael Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Barrington, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
St. Raphael Academy will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Moses Brown at 6:00 p.m. on November 22nd. As for Barrington, they will take on Cumberland at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cumberland is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
