Softball Recap: Hatton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Scottsboro on Friday, Hatton came back down to earth. The Hornets lost 11-2 to Tournament Opponent on Friday.

Hatton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Lane, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Hatton has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16-1 record this season.

Hatton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-4 defeat against Austin on the 5th. As for Tournament Opponent, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-5 loss against Lebanon on the 4th.
