Basketball Game Preview: Welsh Greyhounds vs. Elton Indians

Welsh is on a three-game streak of home losses, Elton a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Monday. The Welsh Greyhounds will welcome the Elton Indians at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Welsh might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 60-19 to Midland, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Rebels are ranked 40th).

Meanwhile, Elton lost to Basile at home by a 46-32 margin on Friday.

Elton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Welsh, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.
