Football Recap: Whitney Drops Highest Score of Season Against Norwalk

Whitney scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 12-6 to the Norwalk Lancers.

Whitney's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Norwalk, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Whitney will face off against rival Cerritos at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Norwalk is set to square off against their familiar foe Artesia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Lancers 10.4, the Pioneers 14.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
