Palmer waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Grand Saline Indians by a score of 2-0. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Palmer's offense was headlined by Lexey Maxwell and Gracie Zhanel, who picked up six kills apiece. They were helped by Harley Ellis and Kinsli Plough, who contributed eight assists each. Maxwell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Palmer's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Grand Saline, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.

Coincidentally, Palmer and Grand Saline will both be playing Gladewater the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Bears at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
