There's no place like home for Rocky River, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on the Garinger Wildcats with a sharp 20-0 victory on Friday. The Ravens haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Rocky River found their leader in sophomore Xavier Smith, who rushed for 32 yards and one score, and also threw for 81 yards and a pair of TDs.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Rocky River proved: they limited Garinger to a paltry -1.5 yards per carry. The Ravens' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.3.

Rocky River's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Garinger, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
