Softball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Madison's offense. They came up short against the Waltrip Rams on Saturday, falling 15-0. The loss leaves the Marlins still looking for their first win of the season.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Waltrip, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison will host Galena Park at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Waltrip, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sterling at 8:00 p.m. on March 17th. Waltrip knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Sterling likes a good challenge.
