Volleyball Recap: Pomona Catholic Comes Up Short

The Pomona Catholic Pacers came up short against the Aquinas Falcons on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

While Pomona Catholic ultimately came up short, they really made Aquinas work, particularly in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 20-25, 28-26.

Pomona Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Aquinas, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Pomona Catholic will head out on the road to challenge St. Monica at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Pacers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Aquinas, they will take on Jurupa Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
