Football Recap: Emerald Ridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Emerald Ridge fell victim to Puyallup and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 54-0 loss at the hands of the Vikings. The Jaguars just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Emerald Ridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Donald Robertson and Cloyd Coles.

It was another big night for Luke Parker, who threw for 262 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81% of his passes, and also rushed for 56 yards and one score for Puyallup. Lawson Looker was Parker's top target, picking up 101 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Emerald Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Puyallup, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Emerald Ridge has already played their next matchup, a 21-12 win against Rogers on the 3rd. As for Puyallup, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sumner at 7:00 p.m. on the 4th.
