Softball Recap: St. Mary's Takes a Loss

St. Mary lost against Tracy back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams lost 11-1 to the Bulldogs. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Mary's saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maya Garcia, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Tracy, they pushed their record up to 25-2 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road.

Looking ahead, St. Mary's will challenge Kimball at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Jaguars have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Tracy, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against West at 4:00 p.m. The Wolfpack have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.18 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
