Basketball Game Preview: Kennard Tigers vs. Broaddus Bulldogs

The Kennard Tigers will head out to take on the Broaddus Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Kennard's defense stepped up to hand Laneville a 1-0 shutout. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 765th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 1668th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Broaddus strolled past Apple Springs with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 72-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Kennard's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-8. As for Broaddus, their victory bumped their record up to 23-10.

Kennard couldn't quite finish off Broaddus in their previous matchup back in January and fell 69-66. Can Kennard avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
