Basketball Recap: Denmark Vikings vs. Oconto Falls Panthers
The Denmark Vikings were the 89-60 winner over the Oconto Falls Panthers when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Denmark fell 67-54 to the Panthers on Monday.
Oconto Falls' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jameson Beaman, who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Haines, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds.
Denmark's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Oconto Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14.
Denmark won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Foxes at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. One thing working in Fox Valley Lutheran's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Oconto Falls, they will be playing at home against the Truckers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clintonville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Panthers in Wisconsin (the Truckers are ranked 76th, while the Panthers are ranked 343rd).
