Oak Hills is a perfect 10-0 against Hesperia since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs will host the Scorpions at 3:15 p.m. Oak Hills is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.
Oak Hills proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 17) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past Serrano 9-8.
Oak Hills got a great performance from CARSYN LEON as she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. LEON has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, AMAYA SIGALA and NATALIA MARTINS did most of the damage at the plate: SIGALA went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI, while MARTINS went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two hits gave MARTINS a new career-high. Another player making a difference was JADE WHITMAN, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Hesperia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against Sultana, falling 12-2.
Marlie Munoz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and two RBI.
Oak Hills' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-9. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. As for Hesperia, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-18-1.
Hesperia's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Oak Hills has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .449. It's a different story for Hesperia, though, as they've only averaged .348. Will they be able to contain Oak Hills' hitters?
Everything went Oak Hills' way against Hesperia in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Oak Hills made off with a 14-4 victory. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Scorpions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
