Softball Recap: Lincoln Northwest Falcons vs. Hastings Tigers        
        
		
             After flying high against Standing Bear  last Monday, Lincoln Northwest came back down to earth. The Lincoln Northwest Falcons took  an  11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hastings Tigers on Tuesday. The Falcons have struggled against the Tigers recently, as their  match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
  Lyrik Harris was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Lincoln Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Hastings, the  win was  the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.
 Lincoln Northwest will venture away from home to  face off against Gretna East  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Hastings, they will host Gretna  on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Hastings has won four straight at home, while Gretna won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
