Soccer Recap: Friday's Win Is Bishop England's 11th in Last 12 Outings

Bishop England proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by six) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Hilton Head Island Seahawks. Kylie Pearson had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Bishop England.

Bishop England is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 49 goals over those 12 contests. As for Hilton Head Island, they moved to 12-6 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Bishop England is taking a road trip to face off against St. James at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hilton Head Island, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Parkview at 11:00 a.m. Hilton Head Island are facing Parkview at the right time seeing as Parkview are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
