Basketball Recap: Jordan Takes a Loss

Jordan lost against Kendrick back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jordan Red Jackets took a blow against the Kendrick Cherokees, falling 80-31. While losing is never fun, the Red Jackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 514th, while the Cherokees are ranked 229th).

Kendrick found their leader in sophomore Noah Harris, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 20 points and three steals. Harris has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kasey Lott, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.

Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Kendrick, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Jordan will venture away from home to take on Manchester at 4:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for Kendrick, they will host Hardaway at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kendrick is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 77.2 points per game this season.
