Softball Recap: Betsy Layne Comes Up Short

Betsy Layne lost against Pike County Central back in April of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Betsy Layne came up short against Pike County Central, falling 15-5. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Betsy Layne's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Pike County Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Betsy Layne will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Morgan County at 6:00 p.m. on April 7. As for Pike County Central, they have already played their next contest, a 17-2 win against Phelps on the 29th.
