Volleyball Recap: Silver Stage Takes a Loss

Silver Stage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carson Senators. The Nighthawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Senators from their previous meeting back in August of 2018.

Carson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kellyn Moyle, who had five aces. Those five aces gave Moyle a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Julie Salanoa, who had three aces and three assists.

Silver Stage's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Carson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Silver Stage didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against North Tahoe on the 22nd. As for Carson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Pahranagat Valley on the 22nd.
