Baseball Recap: Saugus Centurions vs. Ventura Cougars
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Birmingham, Saugus was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Ventura Cougars a 2-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Centurions also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2025.

Chase Kline tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over 4.1 innings pitched. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025.
