Bartram Trail came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 12-7 victory over the Bolles Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lucie McDonald and Shaelynn O'Brien did most of the damage at the plate: McDonald went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while O'Brien went 1-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those three runs gave O'Brien a new career-high. Kayden Alexander also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Bartram Trail's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Bolles, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Coming up, Bartram Trail will take on Beachside at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Barracudas have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Bolles, they will face off against Orange Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
